Stevens Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN) are now believed to be variants of the same condition, distinct from erythema multiforme. SJS/TEN is a very rare, acute, serious, and potentially fatal skin reaction in which there is sheet-like skin and mucosal loss. Burn unit treatment of three Stevens Johnson Syndrome cases with Cryopreserved Allograft Three cases of Stevens-Johnson syndrome are described. This syndrome is characterized by extensive loss of tffe epidermis and other complications. The cutaneous lesions are similar to second-degree burns in their development, and they benefit from temporary coverage with cryopreserved allografts, as may be performed in a Burns Centre.
